April 2013, Meeting Women Leaders in “STEM”, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

An event held Wednesday, April 24th, at Children’s Hospital, hosted young female students to meet women leaders in science, technology, engineering and math – “STEM”.

“In the 1980s, there were 36 percent more women in STEM careers and that’s fallen down to 19 percent,” said Dr. Cheryl Saban with the Saban Research Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (April 24, 2013 KABC Los Angeles).

Here at DCNL, we are proud to share a future with the young women who will be our peers in the STEM Industry.
